RCS is a support service for research faculty at UCHC. It was  developed as a faculty initiative and is backed by the Chancellor, Dean of Medicine, Dean of Dental Medicine, and  Department of Information Technology. The RCS group currently consists of one person, Michael Michonski. He works under the direction of Andrew Warren, Jeff Jorczak and faculty members Drs. Bernstein, Oliver, Rajan, and Weller.

The primary mission of RCS is to assist UCHC researchers with their  computer-based problems and research applications. RCS staff has a broad background in Computer Science and can offer support for a wide variety of computer-related issues relevant to the UCHC research community. RCS will help you identify the most appropriate solution for your computer-related  problems. Specific issues or requests for support will be addressed directly by an RCS staff member. In some  instances, RCS will enlist the services of another UCHC unit (e.g., NSO, Bioengineering), an outside vendor,  another researcher to help solve your problem.

Researchers with computer-related problems should contact RCS by phone or email. Tasks will be assigned to an RCS staff member who will promptly contact the individual making the request. In addition, the RCS website has links to other websites to aid researchers in the solutions to specific problems.

The RCS support philosophy is to offer the best solution to each  problem, issue, or concern. RCS is always open to suggestions to improve services.
